RevLock RL 30 L30 has all the accuracy, ease of installation and flexibility for which RevLocks are renowned. But now, when you reach the limits of the power output of the engine, RL30 automatically modulates the maximum collective pitch available to prevent the engine becoming bogged down. With RL30 your can use more collective pitch range than with a conventional governor. You get higher flight speeds and snappier transient high g manoeuvrability. In sustained high g and high cyclic situations RL30 almost imperceptibly regulates the maximum collective pitch to keep your engine in the power band leaving you to concentrate on the flying.

Carb Smart CarbSmart is used in conjunction with a servo connected to the main needle of the carburettor to adjust the mixture in flight dependant on the cylinder head temperature. The unit has a user selectable target temperature. When the head is below the target temperature the unit moves the mixture towards the leaner direction. The extent to which this is allowed is again user adjustable. As the head reaches the target temperature the mixture is richened to the standard setting and as the head temperature exceeds the target value the mixture continues to richen until a user adjustable limit is reached. The gain of the system is also user adjustable.

RevLock RL10 RevLock RL10 Pre-set two engine speeds As used by Duncan Osbourn in his winning flights at the 3D Masters 2005RevLock governs engine RPM via a digitally synthesised reference signal for smooth accurate retention of rotor speed. This quantum leap forward in active self-governing engine control retains the smoothest of hovering conditions through to unrivalled rotor speed retention throughout aggressive 3-D flight.RevLock is packed full of features that ensure the simplest possible installation and operation. CSM have utilised a linear hall-effect magnetic sensor to achieve powerful signal sensing that is not reliant on magnet orientation. Combine this with a sturdy mounting system and automatic signal strength test, and reliable engine speed data is achieved every single flight. RevLock is operated remotely via any auxiliary control channel or integrally via a manually adjustable pot. Either style of operation offers very fine RPM adjustment over a wide range and the target speed is visually indicated thus eliminating the need for a separate expensive tachometer. Other useful functions include smooth engagement and speed ramping system, digital / non-digital servo selection, de-bug engine-setting feature, advanced adjustable response feature and automated PPM Fail-Safe for enhanced safety.By utilising the most up to date technology, CSM have surpassed all design expectations on both performance and manufacturing costs. As such, the recommended retail price will put RevLock firmly into the 'must have' category for all levels of pilot.

The CSM AIRWARS system is a revolutionary new way to enhance the enjoyment of RC models by creating totally new ways to compete with your friends. Although primarily designed for aerial combat use in EPP foam slope soarers, with its high degree of programmability it can be applied in many ways to all types of R/C models. Features of the AIRWARS system. Non-contact combat system fires Infra-red 'bullets'. Each AIRWARS unit has an infra-red gun which emits coded 'bullets'. The unit is also equipped with a 'Target' sensor which detects when it has been hit by a coded bullet from another AIRWARS unit. AIRWARS caters for all levels of ability and competitiveness, from the pilot who just wants to fly for fun to those wanting to hold large and serious contests. Each hit on the target is recorded in the AIRWARS non-volatile memory, and, if desired, the model can be made to respond to being hit with a programmable sequence of servo movements. The number of hits on the target is shown by the flashing of the FIRE / HITS indicator LED and this can be used to score small informal battles. But for the serious competitors the full details of a major contest involving up to 30 pilots can be recorded using the optional AIRWARS PC interface cable and software. This allows all aspects of the AIRWARS system to be customised as well as providing a very quick, simple way to handle scoring and rule setting for big contests. No need to remember a pilot number - AIRWARS stores your name and uses it for all scoring. Your bullets have your name on them! To set up a contest using the PC interface could not be simpler. Just set the rules you want (burst length, ammunition supply, servo movements, etc.) and then connect each pilot's AIRWARS units to build the pilot list, upload the rules and reset the combat data ready for the fight. At the end of the battle simply connect AIRWARS units to the PC as prompted and the scoring is automatic. After scoring one contest the AIRWARS units are ready for the next bout. Full details of all your contests are stored as text files for reference, printing, e-mailing, etc. Friends Deal (2xAirwars) |
